Artist's Comments

last nights luna eclipse inspired me to make this, its the start of an eclipse, when the moon is not yet fully hidden, hence the gray parts. the other planet isnt earth but an earth like planet

after my previous work on the solar eclipse i decided to work more on my planet texturing and city lights. my quality level has now increased so much that, the texture for my big planet in 'Starfall' is the minimum requrement for this pictures moon. i am PROUD to say i have done ALL of this by hand, and have not used any textures etc. the only outside source was 'cracks' brushes by an author i forgot the name off (sorry, ill edit when i find it again)

enjoy

(btw, feel free yo use this as a desktop background, i am [i made the size perfect for it])

pretty good mate, love the texture of the planet, the only thing i would say is that there are no clouds. Where are the clouds? hehe.

Brilliant detail, only thing id say would be it feels a bit over-cracked, the white parts are a really neat touch too, gj

Pretty cool, but doesn't seem to make much physical sense
Whatever, the planet texture is cool.
